Orange Peel.

Everything will grow old.  Time exists everywhere. Nothing can escape from it. Nobody can avoid getting old.

 

Machines will get broken one day; the youth will show the wrinkle one day; time will end in one life one day.

​

It was an experiment making a face with orange skin because the texture of orange skin has a similar feeling of human skin and wrinkle. I wanted to show the process of something getting old naturally. Therefore, I stored orange skins and put them into the water for 5 days in order to make them rotten, then put them into the shape of the face then dry them for a week. I have taken photos of each day, seeing the changing process. The picture shown on the left is the beginning and the right is the last picture I took.
