I was always the one who ran around the field and felt like I owned the entire field as my playground. There was once, a woman who came to me while I was playing by myself and said, “You look like part of the scene, you know?” I looked and stood where she was earlier. The blue sky, the cloud in the sky, and the grass and dirt underneath. I have been trying to understand what she meant since then. Recalling this childhood memory, I abstracted the scenery I remembered with the combinations of subjects that are real and unreal to reproduce.
