WELCOME TO THE EYELAND

On the Eyeland, aims to explore this abstract idea, resulting in utopian and dystopian realities, challenging individuals to realistically evaluate the action of peace in their daily practices.

We live on an Eyeland, a special bubble running on idyllic values that meets everyone’s desires, where peace and understanding are possible even with no singular definition. You could call it perfect. But, how can you define perfection? And how do you achieve it? Do we have to rely on dystopian practices to achieve this utopia? The more we think about it, this utopia turns into a dystopia. Does this mean we need conflict to have peace?

The establishment of idealistic and chaotic cultures within the conference will allow our community to discover whether peace perspectivism is involved in setting the character of society. Through art exhibitions and interactive experiences, we encourage you to question your ideals, which arise from our pursuit of understanding and concretizing perfection.

International Peace Conference 2020

This was a three-hour art performance exhibition, featuring five performers wearing fashion outfits created by artist Xinge Ju and pianist Ziqi Zhu.

No matter the cultural background, race, or gender, we invited everyone to the space and to be part of it. You can walk with the performers, sit with them, or observe them.

We asked people to answer a series of questions about "utopia" vs. "dystopia" and made it into a soundtrack that played throughout the entire duration of the show.
